The bilingual technical support technician will be a flexible member of the team at ITESMEDIA and will alternate between programming and technical support. In technical support, he will be the additional person responsible for the first customer contact regarding support calls as well as in the field. He will have to make sure to offer continuous follow-up with customers and partners when new requests arise and for the proper functioning of digital signage networks and interactive kiosks.

For the programming component, he will participate in the quality control tests of the ITESMEDIA suite and will be responsible for documenting and correcting any anomalies related to them. He will be the resource person when diagnosing and correcting any anomalies raised by members of the technical support team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first-class technical support to our customers, whether by phone or remote control;
• Identify and resolve technical issues in order to assure customers of the availability of the systems they use;
• Ensure customer satisfaction through rapid, complete and efficient resolution of the various problems encountered;
• Integrate the templates in the ITESLIVE editor;
• Update and produce any documentation deemed necessary.
• Complete quality control (QA) testing
• Correct issues raised during quality control or daily technical support operations

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND DESIRED PROFILE

• Diploma of college studies (DEC) or vocational studies (DEP) in information technology.
• Bilingualism (French and English) required, both oral and written.
• Very good oral and written communication. Ability to build good relationships with clients.
• Experience in customer service and the ability to provide high quality customer service.
• Knowledge of information technology.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Internet and Ms-Office.
• Knowledge of digital signage and interactive kiosks.
• Good understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience using C # language.
• Experience in using SQL Server (creation of tables, stored procedures , triggers , functions, etc.). </ li>
• Ability to diagnose, document and correct technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage stress and achieve goals.
• Ability to work in a team and have interpersonal skills.

The Programming Analyst – Tests Automation will be responsible for developing automated tests for ITESMEDIA products and ensuring their maintenance. The incumbent will work in a cross-sector team and will collaborate with the company’s other departments.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and document technical specifications of automated tests for new products and current systems based on the analysis of change requests or on detailed company requirements.
• Work with the support team to determine recurring problems, then create specifications and test cases to resolve any and all issues.
• Create, document and implement test plans and validate results according to expected data.
• Create and maintain automated test processes.
• Build program codes and perform a structured revision to ensure they are compliant and complete.
• Record and document failures.
• Validate resolution of failures after their remediation.
• Share knowledge with members of the team.
• Provide and update supporting documents.

OTHER DUTIES

• Contribute to the definition of ITESMEDIA product specifications.
• Communicate with clients to clarify their needs, as required.
• Find the best solutions for the use of digital display concepts in software applications.
• Analyze customers’ needs and provide a proposal before development begins.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure availability of systems to customers.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLES AND PROFILE

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in technology.
• Experience in drafting unit tests and extensive experience in creating automated user interface tests.
• Experience operating continuous integration mechanisms (i.e., Jenkins).
• Good knowledge of modern Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Ability to create an application according to the current and future needs of the market.
• Experience with C# and JavaScript languages.
• Experience with SQL Server (creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc.).
• Knowledge of code version management tools (i.e., Git).
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, oral and written.

ASSETS

• Knowledge of ASP.NET Razor Webpages in ASP.NET Core.
• Knowledge of one or many JavaScript frameworks (Single Page Application type).
• Familiar with Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, Azure DevOps).
