L’ESPACE LIFESTYLE RE/MAX, an integrated dynamic digital signage project
MONTREAL - APRIL 29, 2008 Located in Old Montréal, L'Espace Lifestyle Re/Max first catches the eye with its window display screen. Visitors can only grasp the scope of the concept once they step inside. Equipped with 21 screens, the interactive space allows users to shop for a new home in utter tranquility. In a laid-back ambiance where clients are served coffee, the dynamic digital signage (DDS) highlights the franchise’s various real estate projects in Montréal and all over the province. Lien MULTIMÉDIA went on-site to visit the space with those in charge of the DDS, Richard Fortin and Daniel Rivet of ITESmedia.
“In this space, it was of utmost importance to, above all, enhance the client experience,” states Richard Fortin, president of ITESmedia. The display concept is simple, as he further explains: “We separated the information into two sections. First there is the “Highway”: when walking down the hallway we can look at the upper screens to view the information offered. Then, once something grabs the attention, we move to the “Scenic Route”, where the information can be researched on the touch screens.”
The content was developed by Arsenal Media. As all servers in the space are connected to the central Re/Max database, updates are automatically generated. “Although homes displayed are selected by the owner of the space, certain brokers located outside Montréal can pay a fee to have their projects displayed here.”
The idea behind this concept is to allow potential buyers to take their time. “Agents here do not converge on clients; they give them the breathing room to view information of interest and will only step in if clients wish to proceed to the next level”, explains Richard Fortin.
